Ben G is Blowing Up!!!

I obviously hafta start this post with a huge shout out to B-FAM for absolutely killing it this summer, but for everybody who isn't celebrating May Day yet, Ben G is a name that you'll soon come to know pretty well. I was first introduced to the South Carolina native through one of Audionugs' most kick ass readers (what up KUNI), and was instantly blown away by Ben G's uber summer party track 'May Day'. For some of the RSC fans, I've been playing it to close out a lot of sets recently, and I know you've been feeling it, I just wish we could recreate the kick ass pool party in the video every time.

Unfortunately I had to pass up an opportunity to see Ben G at a hip hop showcase at the Rock & Roll Hotel earlier this summer, but I heard that he rocked and rolled pretty hard (and Ben, if you're reading this, sorry I couldn't make it to the Wale after party, I had to DJ that night in Georgetown, but I heard ya'll got real crazy), and it's no wonder why.  Since dropping the 'May Day' video at the beginning of August, his Facebook Page has tripled to over 1,500 fans, and as proof that the dude can throw down a live show, he'll be sharing the stage with Gucci Mane at the University of South Carolina at the end of September (Event Details).

And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, I just had a great video chat w/ the ATL crew and I think its safe to say that the next few months are gonna be a lot of fun....
