For all you dedicated readers, I have to apologize for the lack of posts recently (at least we can all depend on our in-house witchdoctor M@), but I've got a lot of exciting news to share in the aftermath of my pilgrimage to Bonnaroo.
First things first, I recently signed on as a music contributor for the incredibly cool ReadysetDC, so in addition to providing you with new music in this little corner of the Internet that I like to call home, I'll be conducting some fun interviews, writing concert reviews and pretty much any other zany shit that we can come up with. Now that we've got that business out of the way, I'm really stoked to invite ya'll to the Black Squirrel for our first official Ridgewood Social Club Mashup Party on July 3rd!!! (here's the facebook event)
The recently renovated Squirrel Tap Room (I swear I'm not making the name up) can fit around 100 people, so if we can pack the house on the eve of the fireworks, RSC parties will become a regular thing at the Black Squirrel for the rest of the summer!
In the meantime, start your weekend right with two new Ridgewood Social Club mashup sets that I recorded over the span of a few parties in DC/NYC/TN...
And just to clear up any confusion out there, I'm NOT moving to Brooklyn, that would be our other Audionugs writer...
