Got Me Some Peanut Butter and Swelly

As grills were being ignited, kegs tapped and speakers cranked to unimaginable volumes, the last thing we needed in DC was an excessive heat warning from the National Weather Service, but thankfully I had that new Chiddy Bang to keep the party alive all weekend long.  In their much anticipated third mixtape, the Philly duo have taken their hipster electro hip hop swagger to a whole new level on tracks like 'When You've Got Music', 'Too Much Soul' and 'Always (on my Grizzly)', and in a lot of ways, I'm starting to think that PB&S is Xaphoon's most impressive compilation of beats to date.  As their star power continues on the upswing, I think we'll see more collaborative gems like 'Heatwave' with fellow hip-hop up-and-comer Mac Miller, and I can only hope that the Knocks-Chiddy Bang relationship will produce more tracks like 'Dancing with the DJ'. You can listen to the individual tracks below and download the album here.
