While I do remember hearing 'Like a G6" for the first time a little less than a year ago, it's been refreshing to hear a number of worthwhile remixes and mashups that have prevented me from hating the song since it went into radio overkill mode. The first offering is T-Pain's somewhat lazy, yet at the same time fun and spunky remix of "Like a G6", or the 'T-Mix' as he calls it. I call it a lazy remix because, well, he only raps/sings over half of the song, letting the last 2 minutes or so of the original Cataracs song to play out; its almost as if T-Pain had been recording in the studio and decided to get lunch, then completely forgot about the track and leaked it online anyway
The second remix of the day will literally melt your face off. The dubstep remix of "Bass Down Low", one of the less popular tracks off of the Cataracs 2010 mixtape I Thought They Were Black?! is completely reinvented by Proper Villains.
